NBA games always make sports betting exciting

Online betting is hardly a bore when it comes to NBA action. The games played by the world’s best basketball players give live betting fans a lot of ooh’s and ahh’s before the final score is drawn. Games can be hotly-contested affairs or one-sided blowouts.

It’s the nature of the game itself that make it a treat for many of our punters!

New York Knicks 113-105 Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic’s front office have long gone back to the drawing board after trading away Serge Ibaka and are looking at the remainder of this season as material to help them improve the squad. This loss against a Carmelo Anthony-less New York Knicks is the latest material in their analysis: how can they lead for the majority of the game and then straight up choke in the fourth quarter?

Milwaukee Bucks 112-98 Philadelphia 76ers

The result was not in doubt from the moment tip-off began: Milwaukee have too much talent on their roster to allow a bare-bones Sixers roster to beat them. It was another great night for Giannis Antetokounmpo as he stuffs the stat sheet with his contributions on offence and defence.

Miami Heat 106-98 Cleveland Cavaliers

You got to feel bad for Andrew Bogut.

He’s not even a minute into his Cleveland Cavaliers debut and he already left for the locker room with a bad leg injury. The even obviously shook up LeBron James’s team and ended up losing badly to the Miami Heat. It was a field day for ex-Cavalier Dion Waiters as he finished the night with 29 points and five assists.

Golden State Warriors 119-111 Atlanta Hawks

Who needs Kevin Durant?

Stephen Curry and the Warriors managed to outplay the Atlanta Hawks by doing what they were always known for: exploding in the second half. They never looked back after snagging the momentum from Atlanta. What makes this win all the more impressive is that the Hawks were actually playing well; it’s just that the Dubs were a lot better.

Chicago Bulls 95-109 Detroit Pistons

This was a game that Chicago badly needed to get one up on the Pistons. They were actually on their way to a W, but a fourth-quarter collapse saw Reggie Jackson lead the Pistons run away with the W. Jimmy Butler badly needs some help from the wing to ease the pressure on him.

Brooklyn Nets 122-109 Memphis Grizzlies

I’m puzzled by this catastrophe. This game leaves me with more questions than answers.

How could Memphis, long known for sturdy defence, allow a team as terrible as Brooklyn to come away with a staggering 13-point win? How could Mike Conley be this careless and commit five fouls? How could Sean Kilpatrick have 17 free throw attempts? How could the Nets win with a stagnant basketball flow and Brook Lopez taking only six shot attempts?

Indiana Pacers 88-100 Charlotte Hornets

This game was already decided even before the first half was already over. Indiana’s veteran guards didn’t do enough damage to make up for the lack of production from the rest of the bench. Paul George could not do the heavy lifting along as Kemba Walker has more than enough help to win the game.

Houston Rockets 110-112 San Antonio Spurs

This game was an excellent closer to this part of the Texas standoff.

James Harden was an unstoppable scoring machine that helped Houston breeze through the Spurs in the first two quarters. However, Kawhi Leonard had enough veteran help to complement his monster 39-point performance and win the game by the skin of their teeth.

New Orleans Pelicans 83-88 Utah Jazz

The Pelicans may have put up a good fight, Gordon Hayward and Rudy Gobert just proved too much for Alvin Gentry’s men. Hayward and Gobert scored 23 and 15 respecitvely while the rest of the Jazz pitched in to secure the win. Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins didn’t have the luxury of good team-mates around them, unfortunately.

Sacramento Kings 96-108 Denver Nuggets

Sacramento’s on-court struggles continue as they are blindly looking for the player that will replace the Cousins-shaped void on their roster. Buddy Hield and Tyreke Evans are scoring just fine, but that’s all that they’ve been doing so far. Their uncertainty allowed a Jokic-less Nuggets team to overpower them with ball movement and deadly long-range shooting.

Boston Celtics 102-116 Los Angeles Clippers

The monster duo of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin did more than a number on the Boston Celtics as the LA Clippers hand their opponents the second loss on their four-game road trip. Isaiah Thomas, Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley actually had decent outings; the bench failed in giving them the extra push to win over the Clippers.

This road trip isn’t looking better for the C’s as they head north to the Bay Area to face the Dubs.
