Likewise, this is a must-win match for the Swans (who trail Hull by two points).
Under Paul Clement they looked to have found the belief and the quality to climb the table but have wobbled over the past month, coupled with the loss to injury of their only proven scorer, Fernando Llorente.
How he now needs to find the net against a Stoke side whose only consistency this campaign has been their inconsistency.
They have genuine quality in areas of their team, yet Swansea simply need the points more.

First Half 1X2 Swansea @ 2.92 and Asian Handicap -0.50 Swansea @ 2.25.
Liverpool vs Crystal Palace (April 23, 23:30 GMT+8)
Palace produced a memorable win at Anfield last season and have certainly been able to upset the Merseysiders both home and away in recent seasons.
Indeed, after memorable wins over Chelsea and Arsenal in recent weeks, they would love to complete a trio of scalps which would clinch safety beyond all reasonable doubt.
Christian Benteke may also have a point to prove on his return to Liverpool, while the home side also have momentum of their own in a bid to secure a top four spot.
They will start as favourites and, just as in many of their previous encounters, I’m expecting goals in this one.
