The Spurs are building momentum ahead of the NBA All-Star break, as they’re one of the most in-form teams in the league with a four-game winning streak. They’re still a few games behind the Thunder, who remain the Western Conference’s top seed.
Following their back-to-back set against the Mavericks, the Spurs will open their two-game road trip (before the All-Star weekend) against the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena. Similar to San Antonio, Los Angeles are also undefeated in their last three games and are currently fifth in the West.
On the other hand, the Knicks, Rockets, and Suns will host the Pacers, Clippers, and Mavericks. Despite the lean four-game schedule, SBOTOP basketball fans will continue to get their usual dose of NBA 2026 highlights.
Indiana Pacers @ New York Knicks
The shorthanded Pacers are on a four-game losing streak, and according to the NBA 2026 odds, they’re unlikely to halt their slide against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.
Without Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles), the Pacers own the worst record in the Eastern Conference (13-40). During the recently concluded trade deadline, Indiana moved Bennedict Mathurin to LA in exchange for Ivica Zubac, who’s hoping to make his Pacers debut soon.
The Pacers are fresh from a 122-104 road loss against the Raptors on Sunday. What made the defeat worse is that they lost Johnny Furphy for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL. Pascal Siakam led the team with 18 points and four rebounds on 7-for-15 shooting in the losing effort, and he should continue to handle the heavy load.
The Knicks reclaimed the second seed in the East with a 111-89 rout of the Celtics on Sunday. Jalen Brunson had a game-high 31 points, three rebounds, eight assists, and four three-pointers on 12-for-21 shooting. Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, newcomer Jose Alvarado, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Mohamed Diawara added 19, 14, 12, 11, and 10 points.

LA Clippers @ Houston Rockets
The Clippers remained as the 10th seed in the West after improving to 25-27 with their recent two-game winning streak. Despite sending James Harden to the Cavaliers during the trade deadline, LA didn’t skip a beat, as Kawhi Leonard has caught fire (again).

Since their blowout loss to Cleveland last week, Leonard registered 72 points total against the Kings (114-111) and Timberwolves (115-96). On Sunday against Minnesota, the two-time NBA champion also received some help from John Collins, Yanic Konan Niederhauser, and Kobe Sanders, who notched 15, 15, and 10 points.
The Rockets broke their two-game slide with a timely road win against the undermanned Thunder on Saturday (112-106). Tari Eason scored a season-high 26 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and five three-pointers on 10-for-22 shooting. Jabari Smith Jr., Kevin Durant, Alperen Sengun, and Reed Sheppard added 22, 20, 17, and 16 points.

Dallas Mavericks @ Phoenix Suns
The Mavericks and Suns aim to return to winning ways as soon as possible, with the visitors on a seven-game losing streak and the hosts dropping their last two games.
Dallas dropped their back-to-back set against San Antonio last weekend. After dropping 32 points in the first game, Cooper Flagg was only held to 14 points in the second game. Klay Thompson, Brandon Williams, Marvin Bagley III, Max Christie, Caleb Martin, and PJ Washington added 19, 18, 17, 16, 11, and 10 points in the losing effort.
The Suns lost 109-103 to the Sixers on Saturday, but at least they got Devin Booker (ankle) and Jalen Green (hip) back in the lineup. Dillon Brooks actually led Phoenix in scoring with 28 points on 11-for-23 shooting, while Booker, Royce O’Neale, and Mark Williams added 21, 14, and 11 points.

San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Lakers
Victor Wembanyama was solid in their mini-series against the Mavericks, having scored 45 points total. However, the Frenchman is not the only one the Lakers have to be worried about, as Stephon Castle dropped 40 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists, and three steals on 15-for-19 shooting in the last time out.
The Lakers are coming off a 119-110 home loss against the Thunder, as they’re without Luka Doncic (hamstring) for the second consecutive game. LeBron James did all he could by recording 22 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists on 9-for-17 shooting, while Marcus Smart, Austin Reaves, Jake LaRavia, Rui Hachimura, and Jaxson Hayes added 19, 16, 14, 12, and 12 points.
Betting tip – San Antonio Spurs Asian Handicap -8.00 @ 1.90
