Charlotte Hornets 94-112 Minnesota Timberwolves
The Wolves are on the rise, and even Kemba Walker and the Hornets couldn’t stop them from winning their fifth straight game. Jeff Teague appeared to be back to his All-Star form, bagging another double-double of 18 points and 12 assists to spark the fiery Minnesota attack.
Oklahoma City Thunder 99-103 Portland Trail Blazers
Oklahoma’s Big 3 combined for 67 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop the hot-handed Portland who made half of their field-goal attempts. Blazers’ coach Terry Stotts has a lot to be happy too, with Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic totalling 83 points.
Memphis Grizzlies 102-107 Los Angeles Lakers
It’s back-to-back wins for the Purple and Gold in Tinseltown after stopping a late Grizzlies’ fightback. Memphis used a huge fourth-quarter run to bring the game within three after the Lakers led by as much as 22; nonetheless, Luke Walton’s men held firm to their lead.
Brook Lopez tallied a team-high 21 points as five other Lakers scored in double digits.
