If Monaco going out would be a surprise, Atletico Madrid’s failure to progress would be a shock – even in this heavyweight group.
The 2014 and 2016 finalists were held twice by minnows FK Qarabag and now must win their final two games to have any chance.
They take on the Italians fresh from their comprehensive 3-0 despatching of Chelsea.
