Winners of six straight, including a 47-point blowout of the Wizards, the Jazz are looking unstoppable right now. It should also help them that Rudy Gobert is back, which should help crank their defence up a notch.
The Thunder have won back-to-back games against the Wolves and Spurs, but their scoring remains a problem with Paul George and Carmelo Anthony still figuring out a way to thrive in Russell Westbrook’s offence.
Washington Wizards @ Portland Trail Blazers (December 6, 11:00 GMT+8)
The Wizards felt John Wall’s absence in their latest loss, and with the All-Star point guard likely out until the end of the week, they need to find a way to return to their winning ways without him.
Bench scoring will be key for the Wizards in this battle, just like how they did it in their recent victories over the Wolves and Pistons. It should also give them an edge that Portland are struggling offensively after losing two games in a row.
Although Portland’s defence remains a thing to be feared, I think Washington have enough depth to bounce back and win. If you’re punting, betting on the Wizards +5.50 @ 2.00 is the way to go.
