It’s another fantastic day in the NBA as some of the best players in the league produced great performances to excite the live betting faithful.
Cleveland star LeBron James proved that he’s still the best player in the planet with an all-around performance, while the likes of Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, John Wall and Joel Embiid delighted betting websites as they led their respective teams to victory.
Sacramento Kings 92-110 Washington Wizards
After a hot start that saw them lead by the end of the first half, the Kings went cold and never really had a chance to fight back. Washington controlled the game with their rebounding, grabbing 50 boards compared to Sacramento’s 34, while John Wall sparked their offence with 21 points.
Cleveland Cavaliers 104-101 New York Knicks
Cleveland made just a total of 36 points in the second and third quarters, but they exploded in the fourth to score 43 and escape a Knicks team that led by as much as 23. LeBron James—who had some confrontation with New York rookie Frank Ntilikina and big man Enes Kanter in the opening frame—showed why they shouldn’t mess with the King as he flirted with a triple-double of 23 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds.
Memphis Grizzlies 103-110 Milwaukee Bucks
The Memphis starters combined for 49 points in a cold-shooting night, while Milwaukee’s made a total of 85. Tyreke Evans tallied 27 off the bench to keep the game close for the Grizzlies, but it wasn’t enough with Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo raking in 27 as well to go along with nine rebounds and seven dimes.
Atlanta Hawks 105-106 New Orleans Pelicans
Darius Miller made 21 points and banked the game-winning three-pointer with under a minute left to help propel the Pelicans past the lowly Hawks. With seven players scoring in double figures, Atlanta looked to be on their way to an upset. However, New Orleans fought back mightily and held on behind the double-double performances of DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis, and the 24-point explosion of E’Twaun Moore.
Los Angeles Lakers 100-93 Phoenix Suns
Defence remains solid for the Lakers, and it helped them stop their losing skid against the Devin Booker-led Suns. It also gave them a boost that Jordan Clarkson stepped up with 25 markers, igniting what has been a miserable offence in the past three games.
Minnesota Timberwolves 109-98 Utah Jazz
The injury to Rudy Gobert clearly hurt Utah in more ways than they expected. The Wolves outrebounded them, 40-31, and Karl-Anthony Towns had an easy time on the paint as he dominated with 24 points and 13 boards. Even Donovan Mitchell’s all-around effort wasn’t enough to power the Jazz.
Denver Nuggets 82-99 Portland Trail Blazers
Portland won the match marred with turnovers, thanks in large part to an efficient shooting night. CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic spearheaded the Blazers with 17 points apiece, while Denver were left helpless as Nikola Jokic failed to make his presence felt.
Orlando Magic 100-110 Golden State Warriors
Despite the absence of Stephen Curry, the Warriors still made easy work of the soaring Magic squad. Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson were their usual selves as they combined for 51 points to give the Warriors the W. Orlando, meanwhile, had little chance with Aaron Gordon struggling to make his shots.
Philadelphia 76ers 109-105 LA Clippers
Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons provided Philly fans with another reason to believe that their dark days are over after beating the now-slumping Clippers. Embiid was particularly sensational with his 32 points and 16 rebounds that effectively countered Blake Griffin’s brilliant display.
