We’re just in the first week of 2018, but the NBA has already blessed sports betting fans with lots of fantastic games to follow!
Tomorrow’s games feature enough drama that makes for good live betting as well as intriguing matches that offer exciting betting odds. With 12 games to choose from, there’s enough room for you to make a splash in winnings!
Houston Rockets @ Orlando Magic (January 4, 8:00 GMT +8)
The Rockets finally snapped their losing skid thanks to an uncomfortable win against the valiant Lakers. They will be trying to spark a winning run when they visit Orlando, but they might have to do so without James Harden’s scoring. I still think Chris Paul can will a win, but Aaron Gordon should be able to keep it close.
Orlando +7.50 @ 1.92 is a good bet to make for this game.
San Antonio Spurs @ Philadelphia 76ers (January 4, 8:00 GMT +8)
LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard played some fantastic basketball against New York. They should be able to outplay the young guns of Philadelphia. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons should make things interesting, but Gregg Popovich’s team is playing better basketball.
New York Knicks @ Washington Wizards (January 4, 8:00 GMT +8)
The Knicks are playing great basketball despite their losing record. However, their performances always hinge on Kristaps Porzingis’ condition. The Knicks are usually atrocious on the road, so there’s no excuse for John Wall and the Wizards to win. Punters will find big winnings in Washington -9.00 @ 2.03.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Brooklyn Nets (January 4, 8:30 GMT +8)
The Nets struggle no matter where they play while the Timberwolves are doing just fine on the road. Brooklyn have no healthy stars to speak of while Minnesota have three big scorers at their disposal. There should be no question on how this game would end.
Detroit Pistons @ Miami Heat (January 4, 8:30 GMT +8)
Detroit enjoyed blowout victories against Orlando and San Antonio, making them a hidden gem for many veteran punters. Miami are also winning their fair share of games but are struggling to win at home. This will be a close game that could be decided on one possession. I’m picking Motor City this time, so my recommendation is +3.00 @ 1.96 for the Pistons.
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Boston Celtics (January 4, 9:00 GMT +8)
The second regular-season meeting between these two giants is still going to be with very notable absences, but fans can expect some high-octane action. LeBron and Kyrie might brush this off as another game, but fans should read between the lines and expect these two to go all out against each other.
Toronto Raptors @ Chicago Bulls (January 4, 9:00 GMT +8)
The Raptors pulled off impressive victories against Milwaukee and Atlanta and should be back in top form. Meanwhile, the Bulls lost close games against considerable competition. Fans should expect leads to change hands every now and then, but the Raptors should walk away with the W.
Betting on Toronto -5.50 @ 2.04 is a big steal in my book.
Indiana Pacers @ Milwaukee Bucks (January 4, 9:00 GMT +8)
Jason Kidd is still hesitating to let Giannis Antetokounmpo take control of games. While that has cost them a couple of victories, they have a good shot at winning against the visiting Pacers. Victor Oladipo and company have lost to opponents of varying levels over their last four outings, so there should be no problems in the Bucks taking over.
Putting your gas money on Milwaukee -8.50 @ 2.04 should net you some big winnings.
Golden State Warriors @ Dallas Mavericks (January 4, 9:30 GMT +8)
The Mavericks are on an unbelievable four-game win tear thanks to the efforts of Harrison Barnes, Dirk Nowitzki, Dennis Smith Jr. and J.J. Barea. They should pose a tough challenge to a Warriors squad that just steamrolled the Memphis Grizzlies during the comeback game of Stephen Curry.
The Dubs are the most likely winners in this contest, but I’m going to bet a limb that the Mavs would at least make it close.
Phoenix Suns @ Denver Nuggets (January 4, 10:00 GMT +8)
The Suns are slowly getting their mojo back after a string of good performances against teams from all over the league. Devin Booker will try to steal a win against the Nuggets, but I doubt Nikola Jokic and Denver would just let them prance around Mile High City.
New Orleans Pelicans @ Utah Jazz (January 4, 10:00 GMT +8)
The Pelicans should leave their inconsistency in 2017 as they play their first game of the year against the Jazz. Their losses against notoriously weak road teams in Dallas and New York are unexplainable, and better play should be expected out of DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis.
With Rudy Gobert still out for Utah, there is plenty of opportunities for the Pels to impose their dominance. There should be no trouble in your mind while betting for New Orleans +1.50 @ 1.96.
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers (January 4, 11:30 GMT +8)
The Thunder also have some explaining to do after suffering questionable defeats against the Bucks and the Mavericks. While the messy chemistry between their three stars is still a big problem for Loud City, there is no excuse for them to lose against the team chasing Paul George’s signature in the Lakers.
