Did you get something good during your Halloween parties?
I’m asking this because a lot of sports betting fans were happy with the way things went last night. There were fantastic games that easily blew the pre-game betting odds out of the water. Teams have been playing so well this season that they sometimes scare me.
Let’s dissect how your favourite team won/lost!
Sacramento Kings 83-101 Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Pacers are an impressive team that hasn’t failed to deliver so far. Victor Oladipo did not shoot much, but outstanding performances from Domantas Sabonis, Bojan Bogdanovic and Thaddeus Young ensured the W against the struggling Sacramento Kings.
Phoenix Suns 122-114 Brooklyn Nets
The Barclays Center saw a fantastic duel between two young teams that specialize in offense. Devin Booker and D’Angelo Russell were embroiled in an outstanding shooting match. Fortunately for the Suns, the rest of the roster did just enough to get them ahead of the Nets by the end of regulation.
Oklahoma City Thunder 110-91 Milwaukee Bucks
This Oklahoma City win is an easy one for Russell Westbrook and friends. Paul George led the pack this time with his 20 points, while No. 0 ended the night with a near triple-double. Giannis Antetokounmpo definitely deserves a lot of praise for even trying to keep the outclassed Bucks in the game.
Detroit Pistons 93-113 Los Angeles Lakers
Larry Nance Jr. may have made a niche for himself in the starting PF position after his 14-point, 12-rebound outing in their win over a strong Pistons side. Kyle Kuzma and Julius Randle were simply fantastic off the bench. Lonzo Ball, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Brandon Ingram all scored 13 points and got at least five boards.
Luke Walton has a problem in the power forward position: they just have too much talent. It’s actually a nice concern to have.
