The last two NBA playoffs series are both tied at 2-2 and online betting is in disarray with no clear favourites yet on who will take the remaining spots in the Eastern and Western Conference finals.

After splitting the first four matches, it’s safe to say that these two teams are evenly matched and that this series could be decided by which team will play better come game time.
Game 5 will be crucial for the Rockets though as they need to get the W before bringing the series back at Toyota Center with a chance to shut down the Spurs in front of their home fans.
Houston’s hope will come from the three-point territory – an area where they are unarguably one of the best if they are clicking. Their perimeter threat has already given San Antonio two defeats, with the first one their only loss at home in the postseason, so the Rockets will likely capitalise on that once again.
The issue for them, however, is their inconsistency on making those shots. Not to mention that it’s doubtful Gregg Popovich will allow them to do as they please at AT&T Center where the Spurs are 31-10 in the regular season.
This one should be a lot closer than their previous meetings with Pop also expected to put a more defensive-minded unit to counter Mike D’Antoni’s offence. Nonetheless, given the handicap, Houston should be a safe choice on +6.00 that pays at 1.85.
Washington Wizards @ Boston Celtics (May 11, 08:00 GMT+8)
Who would have thought that the Wizards will still be alive and kicking after dropping their first two at TD Garden?
Surely, it has been quite a shock, but it just proves how good Washington’s starters are compared to Boston’s. Game 2 showed that difference with the Wizards scoring at will and the Celtics crumbling under the defensive pressure they received.
Scott Brook’s men will certainly bank on the momentum they got to continue punishing the Celts, and they will be a tougher nut to crack with their bench unit showing some signs of life.
Playing at home will give Isaiah Thomas and Boston a boost though, and considering that the Wizards never won on their turf this season, it will be hard to bet against the C’s.
As tight as this battle might end up, I don’t expect the pattern of this series to change. With that said, go for the Celtics -4.50 @ 1.96.
