Can Anyone really Stop this Runaway Train Now?

Fifteen points…fifteen! That’s the gap between Manchester City and the rest with 13 Premier League football games to play.

But this is still a tough league (though Pep’s boys sometimes make it look easy) and everyone will do their level best to stop the Sky Blues against all betting odds. It’s Burnley’s turn on Saturday so Turf Moor could be the place to be for live betting fans.

WEEK 26 SATURDAY:

Burnley vs Manchester City

Hey, if anyone thinks they can stop City, you can count on Sean Dyches’ Burnley to give it a good go! With the likes of the combative Ashley Barnes in his side, his team will get in the leaders’ faces. Aymeric Laporte has arrived in Manchester in a £57m move from Athletic Club, and facing Barnes could be an eye-opener for him!

Manchester United vs Huddersfield Town

The Red Devils will give Burnley a cheer if they can pull off the unlikely while trying to ensure they don’t slip up themselves. Jose Mourinho will remind his superstars how they lost to the Terriers earlier in the season, but the visitors look like they’re running out of steam, four defeats on the bounce and just a point above the drop.

Leicester City vs Swansea City

While Claude Puel tries to work out how he can possibly integrate his very unhappy star Riyad Mahrez, the Swans got it right in the transfer market by resigning Andre Ayew in a record deal, and they’ve come back from the dead since sacking Paul Clement. This time, they face a huge challenge as Carlos Carvalhal’s team are in fine form, having picked up back-to-back wins against Liverpool and Arsenal.

Bournemouth vs Stoke City

Eddie Howe has steered his side into the top half and they’re on the crest of a wave having just dispatched Chelsea 0-3 at Stamford Bridge. Stoke have picked up four points from two games, but are one of four teams on 24 points and just one above the bottom three. Nervous times…

Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham United

Brighton is another team in that batch and looking over their shoulders, and Chris Hughton’s team, much like Huddersfield, look like the long season may well get the better of them. The Hammers have done this all before and David Moyes has overseen a handy unbeaten league run in the last six games.

West Bromwich Albion vs Southampton

Alan Pardew hopes the marquee signing of Daniel Sturridge will lift the Baggies off the foot of the table, though the former Liverpool man, understandably, failed to impress on his debut against Manchester City. He may have more luck against the Saints, who can’t buy a win and are languishing in 18th.

WEEK 26 SUNDAY:

Arsenal vs Everton

The Emirates crowd will loudly welcome its new arrivals, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, even if they can’t spell their names! And Theo Walcott should get some applause, too, but only before the game. He made a great start at Everton, scoring twice in the midweek win over Leicester.

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United

The Eagles can give hope to any team which currently feels forlorn at the bottom of the table, but then none of the bottom clutch of teams has Roy Hodgson as manager. He’s lifted Palace out of the drop zone and up to 13th. Newcastle, in contrast, are in big danger and pinning their hopes on loan recruit Kenedy.

WEEK 26 TUESDAY:

Watford FC vs Chelsea

After a great first half of the season, a serious slump means Watford are by no means out of trouble and it isn’t the best time to play Chelsea. Antonio Conte will be fuming after his humiliation at home to the Cherries and he may be ready to unleash deadline-day signing Olivier Giroud.
