A chance for sports betting on all levels

Football games over the Easter holiday period will undoubtedly shape the race for the title, the race for the top four and the battle to beat the drop.

It means accurate football betting on all levels, from top to bottom, is no easy feat – but a hell of a lot of fun!

WEEK 33 SATURDAY:

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth

Spurs are flying high and running into form at an opportune moment.

It’s unlikely they will be able to claw back runaway leaders Chelsea but they want to be ready just in case.

The return from the bench of Harry Kane in last weekend’s thrashing of Watford could be timely, especially with an FA Cup semi-final against the leaders to come.

For now, it will be interesting to see how the Cherries compare Mauricio Pochettino’s side to Antonio Conte’s outfit who defeated them 3-1 last week.

Crystal Palace vs Leicester City

After exposing Arsenal, this is the perfect chance for Crystal Palace to seal survival.

Five wins in six matches show Sam Allardyce has the Eagles playing with confidence.

And with Leicester surely having one eye on their Champions League second leg three days later, Palace know this is the perfect timing to add the champions to their scalp of the Gunners.

Everton vs Burnley

With Arsenal’s hopes of finishing in the top four in grave danger, Everton can sense finishing above the Gunners themselves and sealing a possible Europa League spot.

Stranger things have happened and they will expect to win against a Clarets side yet to win on their travels this season.

However, Sean Dyche’s side are close to retaining their top flight status and won’t roll over easily at Goodison.

Stoke City vs Hull City

Stoke were genuine contenders for a European spot 12 months ago.

How their fortunes have changed – not helped by injuries to the likes of Jack Butland and Xherdan Shaqiri – but no excuse for a run which has seen just 10 victories in 39 league games.

A top half finish is more than respectable but questions about the direction of the club will need to be asked at the end of the season.

Hull, invigorated under Marco Silva, will fight for their lives in the Potteries.

Sunderland vs West Ham United

If you thought Slaven Bilic was having a hard time of it, then spare a thought for David Moyes.

His Sunderland side are all but consigned to the drop and he is having a hard time of it.

Indeed, the Scot doesn’t seem to have recovered from his turbulent time at Manchester United which ended almost three years ago to the day.

One more victory should seal safety for the inconsistent Hammers.

Watford vs Swansea

With their Premier League survival all but assured, manager Walter Mazzarri should not have to worry about his future – but he will.

In fact, it will be a surprise if Mazzarri is still at Vicarage Road next season given the way Quique Sanchez Flores was treated at the end of the last campaign.

The ambitions of the club owners dictate that.

As for Swansea, who are two points from safety, what they would give to swap positions with the Hornets.

WEEK 33 SUNDAY:

Southampton vs Manchester City

The Saints have only lost one of their last seven games and will offer a real test to City.
It speaks volumes for City’s frustrations and underwhelming league form that they lie in fourth and are out of the title race.
They should not have a problem securing a top four spot, however.

West Bromwich Albion vs Liverpool

Liverpool tend to perform better when Sadio Mane plays and the Senegalese has now been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Yet they showed their character without him in their last outing at Stoke when they came from behind to win.

As for the Baggies, a top 10 finish is still realistic but they are stuttering of late and have now lost four of their last six.

Time to put that right?

WEEK 33 TUESDAY:

Middlesbrough vs Arsenal

Why Boro panicked and let Aitor Karanka go is a question they may ponder again this summer – as they prepare for life back in the championship.

Why Arsenal continue to display a collective lack of character is a question Arsene Wenger is struggling to answer.

After conceding three or more goals in their past four Premier League away games, it’s easy to pinpoint the base of the problem.
