There’s a sense of urgency in the Leicester, Swansea and Middlesbrough camps, so they will all eye to turn around the betting odds before its too late.
Sure, their Week 23 football games might not be highly anticipated in the Premier League, but fans can expect some intensity from them as they strive to pull away from the drop zone.
Burnley FC vs Leicester City (February 1, 03:45 GMT+8)
Burnley, headed by the attacking prowess of Andre Gray, are in good form right now as they sit 10 points above the relegation area. However, it remains to be seen what impact the absence of influential midfielder Dean Marney will have on the team.
Leicester, meanwhile, are the total opposite as they lost all but one of their past seven league games. Nonetheless, they will be bolstered by the return of Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani, who scored twice in the Foxes’ 3-0 win over the Clarets last September.
This match should be closer than their first encounter, but I think the Foxes have some edge with Mahrez and Slimani back in action. Thus, I’ll go for a 🌟🌟🌟 bet on Leicester -0.25 @ 2.14.
Swansea vs Southampton (February 1, 03:45 GMT+8)
Both teams recorded a win over Liverpool, with Swansea a 3-2 thriller in Week 22 and Southampton a 1-0 victory in the EFL Cup.
Nevertheless, the Saints will be the one favoured to get all the points in this meeting after thrashing Leicester last Sunday. Moreover, although their 5-0 FA Cup loss to Arsenal should be worrying, the fantastic form of Shane Long—who scored against the Reds and Norwich City—should ease it a little bit.
Swansea still have a chance, though, if Fernando Llorente can make a repeat of his performance against Jurgen Klopp’s side. But I don’t see it happening especially with their defence that needs a lot of fixing.
Southampton -0.25 @ 2.01 should be worthy 🌟 punt.
Middlesbrough vs West Brom (February 1, 03:45 GMT+8)
Still winless in the English top flight since mid-December, Aitor Karanka will rely on his team’s defence to at least salvage a point in this reverse fixture.
They will be up against the surging West Brom who are currently eighth in the table; however, the Boro have already managed to keep the Baggies scoreless in their first battle this season, and there’s no reason that they can’t do better this time with the signing of striker Patrick Bamford from Chelsea.
This bout will be difficult, but Middlesbrough Draw No Bet @ 1.76 sounds a good 🌟🌟 bet.
