Another week, another sacking, more injuries and suspensions and midweek games in Europe… the Premier League may, or may not be the best in the world. But it’s certainly the toughest.
While Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte quibble over who should be moaning more about their injury list, the other teams preparing for this week’s big football games all have their own issues.
West Ham United vs Brighton & Hove Albion (October 21, 03:00 GMT+8)
For my first Asian Handicap Betting pick, I’m heading to London where West Ham takes on Brighton. Both are on eight points, the Hammers see that as underachieving whereas it represents a solid start for the Seagulls. Javier Hernandez is a doubt and with Andy Carroll banned for two forearm tackles at Burnley, Slave Bilic may be a little light up front.
But I think he’ll have enough and I’m backing a home win in a 🌟🌟 bet at 1.87.
Swansea City vs Leicester City (October 21, 22:00 GMT+8)
So Shakespeare is no more at the King Power Stadium but that will be much ado about nothing if the Foxes can get a much needed win in Wales. Shakespeare lost his job as Leicester are in the bottom three, partly because the Swans beat Huddersfield last time out.
In a tense game, these two could cancel each other out; so a draw at 3.15 is my 🌟 bet.
Everton vs Arsenal (October 22, 20:30 GMT+8)
Their mid-week Europa League assignments were the warm up for this match, which is more important to both teams than European exploits at this stage of the season. Arsenal lost their winning run with a shock defeat to Watford, so Gunners need to get back on track, while Everton, in 16th, doesn’t seem to know where the track is!
I can see goals in this; so for a 🌟🌟 bet, how about Over 2.5 goals at 1.86?
