Italy 3-0 Uruguay
Two late goals from Eder and Daniele De Rossi turned a good win into a great win for Italy as they made it seven games unbeaten, while Uruguay continued a losing run.
There’s a happy feeling in the Italy camp, as well as for fans backing them with online betting. But it’s a very different story for Uruguay after a fourth consecutive defeat and betting websites undecided whether these giants of South American football will qualify for Russia 2018.

But Italy always looked the more likely to score and Inter Milan’s Eder headed just wide on 75 minutes. But he made no mistake seven minutes later when Manolo Gabbiadini crossed for him to plant his next header home.
Stephan El Shaarawy drew a foul in injury time and up stepped Daniele De Rossi to fire the penalty home and make it three.
It’s another fine win for Italy as they re-embark on their qualifying campaign at the weekend; but Uruguay don’t play again until August and Oscar Tabarez has a lot of thinking to do.
