Liverpool’s win at West Ham will definitely have hurt Arsenal.
Their quest for fourth place now seems certain to have an unsuccessful end (barring a Middlesbrough miracle).
Who knows, that could mark the official end of Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal reign.
However, for all their troubles, Arsenal are on top of the world compared to their relegated opponents.

Manchester City vs West Bromwich Albion (May 17, 03:00 GMT+8)
Pep Guardiola will know more than most that he and his City side have been a major disappointment this term.
They had the best squad, the best group of world class players and the best of finances to dwarf most other clubs, yet failed to live up to the billing after a promising start.
Indeed, based on the evidence City bid farewell to Manuel Pellegrini last year after a top four finish and a League Cup success, Guardiola will be lucky to keep his post this summer.
The much-feted Spaniard will be treated differently, however, and the chance to seal third place awaits them here.
Against a West Brom side who, naturally, may have one eye on their holidays, I can’t see past a home triumph.
