The Ronald Koeman project at Everton always promised to be an interesting one to observe.
And it looks set to continue that way with qualification for European football a real possibility for the Toffees and Koeman no doubt keen to reshape his side further this summer.
The mood at Goodison could be slightly subdued after top scorer Romelu Lukaku turned down what is reportedly the most lucrative contract extension the club has ever offered.
Yet, it’s easy to forget the Belgian still has two years on the deal left to run and I expect him to shake off any dissent on the terraces and fire Everton to victory. Despite genuine optimism that Hull can pull off a great escape, I just don’t think they will get anything out of this one.

What an adventure Leicester City have had this past 18 months.
