Will it be a Happy Christmas for These Clubs?

Happy holidays, sports betting fans!

It is indeed the season to be jolly, but the Premier League teams I have in focus in this week’s betting tips won’t have any time to celebrate as they aim to earn more points to either fight for a place at the top or escape danger.

Betting odds are tight, so expect another action-packed weekend before the yuletide festivities.

Everton vs Chelsea (December 23, 20:30 GMT+8)

Everton’s revival continues under Sam Allardyce, and they are now up to ninth on the table after briefly facing danger.

Wayne Rooney’s return to form and club-record signing Gylfi Sigurdsson’s rise helped the club significantly, and the two are expected to star again when they host the reigning champions at Goodison Park.

Chelsea, at third, will be a tough nut to crack, though it’s worrying that striker Alvaro Morata is in a slump after failing to score in his last two league outings.

Given their position, Chelsea will always be favoured; not to mention that they already beat the Toffees twice this year. However, it should be remembered who is the man at the helm for Everton. After all, Allardyce knows how to beat Antonio Conte’s men, as he proved when he was still in charge of Crystal Palace last campaign.

I expect a close encounter than what the odds suggest, so I’m picking Everton to be solid 🌟🌟 bets on Asian Handicap +0.75 @ 2.08.

West Ham United vs Newcastle United (December 23, 23:00 GMT+8)

The fact that the Magpies cancelled their own Christmas party to focus on their Premier League campaign just shows how dire the situation is. They are winless since November and are on a run of four straight defeats.

West Ham, meanwhile, are on a high after an unbeaten streak of three, including a win over Chelsea and a draw with Arsenal. Marko Arnautovic also seems to have finally adjusted to life at the London Stadium with two goals in the same span.

If there’s any silver lining for Newcastle in this game, it’s that they thrashed the Hammers with three unanswered strikes the first time they met this season.

I don’t think that will happen again and I doubt there will be plenty of scoring here. With that in mind, I’m suggesting a 🌟🌟🌟 bet on Goals Under 2.25 @ 1.96.

Burnley vs Tottenham Hotspur (December 24, 01:30 GMT+8)

Looking at this matchup, no one would expect Burnley to be above Tottenham on the leaderboard, especially midway through the season. However, here they are: Burnley at sixth and the Spurs at seventh and coming off a humiliating 4-1 drubbing from Manchester City.

The Clarets don’t have much to boast offensively, but it’s been fascinating to watch Sean Dyche get his team to buy to a defence-first mentality. They already have nine clean sheets this season and allowed only 12 goals so far, on par with the two Manchester teams.

There’s no question Tottenham have the offensive weapons to make life hard for any team, but it should be noted that three of Burnley’s four losses are just by one point.

I like the way the Clarets are playing clinical football, so my 🌟🌟🌟 bet is on them to win on Asian Handicap +1.00 @ 1.99.
