The Bundesliga broke several piggy banks open as the clubs spent good money. While Dortmund lost their talisman in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the arrivals of Michy Batshuayi and Manuel Akanji should strengthen them on the remainder of the season. Finally, La Liga also saw a lot of mid-season shuffles. The most notable arrival is Philippe Coutinho, of course, but there are also other interesting deals made by the Spanish clubs. Francis Coquelin arrives at Valencia for £12m, Yerry Mina gets picked up by Barcelona, and Diego Costa has finally come back home to Atletico Madrid.
