The last match they played on a hard surface was at the 2015 US Open, where the game swung wildly toward either sister: Serena won the first and last set comfortably, while Venus overwhelmed her in the second.
I think this is going to be another hallmark Williams classic, where the two sisters will be exchanging blows all over Melbourne Park. They would have to throw their sisterly bonds aside as they gun for individual glory.
